Steven, good article but don't blame the fans in Canada for their apathy towards our soccer program. If you examine the CSA soccer program over the last 30 years you will see why we are in such desparate times with the development of our game. I was invold in the Ontario coaching and development of players program for over 30 years and saw with dismay their selction of players to the various age groups to represent the province of Ontario.

The Pelham Pharmasave Bantam Panthers were undefeated in Clarington Jan 16&17th.They opened the tournament with a 4 -1 win over ST. Mary's. Tommy Waldeck and Matt Moulaison split the goal tending duties in this game both putting on a show for the scouts for the tournaments allstar game. On Monday July 5th the Meridian Credit Union Panthers faced off against the Welland Wizards. Unfortunately, Welland worked their wizardly ways through the Pelham defense and put one on the scoreboard first.
